ABOUT
Nitzan has over 10 years of experience helping individuals and couples of various populations create meaningful lives and relationships. She is passionate about supporting her clients and helping them blossom.
Nitzan received her Bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature from the University of California, Berkeley, where she also completed an Honors Thesis on the poetry of Sylvia Plath and Dahlia Ravikovitch. She graduated from Loyola Marymount University's Marriage and Family Therapy and Clinical Art Therapy Master's program
in 2013. She began her clinical work
as an art therapy intern in 2012 at
Aviva Child and Family Services,
working with young women through
art therapy. She completed a 3.5 years
-long internship at Airport Marina
Counseling Services, where she
worked with adults, couples, teens
and children. At AMCS she gained a
great deal of experience working
psychodynamically on a weekly basis.
While completing her internship at
AMCS, she began work in substance
abuse treatment centers in Los Angeles, helping individuals who were seeking sobriety from drugs and alcohol. In 2020, Nitzan joined Silver Lake Psychology, working with adults via telehealth. During the height of the covid-19 pandemic, Nitzan graduated from The New Center for Psychoanalysis' 2-year Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy program. In 2022, she graduated from the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy program at The Los Angeles Institute and Society for Psychoanalytic Studies (LAISPS). Also in 2022, Nitzan opened her private practice.
