FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. ARE YOU ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS?

Yes, I am accepting clients that live in the state of California. At this time, all sessions are held via telehealth. 

2. HOW DO I GET STARTED?

If you would like to see if we are a good fit or have any questions, please reach out for a free 15-minute phone consultation. I will get back to you in less than 24 hours. You can can call me at 323-991-8680 or email me at nitzan@nitzankeynanlmft.com to set up a time. 

3. WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT OPTIONS?

Payments are due at the time of service. Payments can be made with credit card, Venmo, or Zelle. Please feel free to contact me to discuss fees in more detail.

4. DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

Yes, I do take insurance. I am a provider for Cigna, Aetna, and Optum, and their insurance plans (such as UnitedHealthCare, etc.) Please check out my page on Alma (https://secure.helloalma.com/providers/nitzan-keynan/) or email me directly for more information. If your insurance is not on this list, I'd be happy to provide you with a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. If you have questions about this process, please feel free to reach out and I'd be happy to answer any questions.

5. WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE OR CANCEL AN APPOINTMENT?

All rescheduling or canceling of sessions need to be made at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled session. If a session is missed or cancelled with less
than 24 hours' notice, I will need to charge the full fee for the missed session.

6. WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I'M
IN CRISIS?

In case of a medical or psychiatric emergency, including a threat to your safety or the safety of others, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
